The borderlands are home to me. Born in Nogales, Arizona, and raised in Tucson, I've never known work that wasn't shaped by this place.

I hold master's degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from Arizona State University, and my focus has always centered on systems-level approaches that address the disparities affecting migrants, refugees, and underserved communities.

My clinical work spans a range of populations and life stages, including fathers navigating the postpartum period and beyond, as well as marginalized communities more broadly. I believe fathers, in particular, are a group that's often overlooked in perinatal care. Across all of my work, I bring a strength-based, client-centered approach. I meet people where they are, rather than fitting them into a one-size-fits-all model of support. This reflects what has guided me throughout my career: a commitment to service rooted in dignity and community, and a belief that people are best supported not by being fixed, but by being walked alongside.
